Barcelona, Spain, July 8 – MEL Composites is pleased to announce the expansion of its services for Evonik. Effective immediately, MEL Composites will offer processing services for the premium foam brand ROHACRYL™, supplying custom-cut sheets and CNC processing for Evonik and its customers.
The launch of ROHACRYL™ at JEC World 2023 confirms Evonik's commitment to expanding its line of high-performance foams. ROHACRYL™, a top-tier acrylic-based structural foam, is characterized by its exceptional mechanical properties, thermal stability, and environmental friendliness. This new material meets the demanding performance requirements of sectors such as automotive, wind energy, and marine.
MEL Composites supplies its customers with high-precision cut foam core sheets and has designed and manufactured custom core kits since the early 1990s. Its in-house CNC equipment, drilling and grooving machines, and block inventory enable MEL to produce customized Evonik foam kits that maximize production efficiency in the workshop.
MEL Composites will also continue processing ROHACELL®, Evonik's high-performance PMI foam.
