MEL Composites is pleased to announce the expansion of its collaboration with Evonik, incorporating new processing services for the ROHACRYL\u2122 range of structural foams.<\/p>\n

With immediate effect, MEL Composites will offer the supply of sheets and custom CNC machining of ROHACRYL\u2122, providing tailored solutions for both Evonik and its customers in various industrial sectors.<\/p>\n

The launch of ROHACRYL\u2122 at JEC World 2023 reinforces Evonik's strategy to expand its portfolio of high-performance foams. It is a next-generation acrylic structural foam, characterized by its high mechanical strength, thermal stability, and a sustainable profile, designed to meet the demands of sectors such as automotive, wind energy, and marine industry.<\/p>\n

MEL Composites has extensive experience in the supply and processing of structural cores, offering high-precision cutting solutions and custom foam kits since the 1990s. Thanks to its internal capabilities \u2014including CNC equipment, drilling and grooving systems, and stock of blocks\u2014 the company develops optimized kits that improve manufacturing efficiency on-site and reduce processing times.<\/p>\n

Additionally, MEL Composites will continue processing ROHACELL\u00ae, Evonik's high-performance PMI foam, consolidating its position as a specialized technical partner in advanced solutions for composite materials.<\/p>\n
