{"id":394,"date":"2026-01-22T14:28:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-22T13:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/melcomposites.es\/?post_type=areas&#038;p=394"},"modified":"2026-04-29T14:00:55","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T12:00:55","slug":"production-capacity","status":"publish","type":"areas","link":"https:\/\/melcomposites.es\/en\/areas\/production-capacity\/","title":{"rendered":"Production capacity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A factory of our own at the service of your project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MEL Composites has its own production facilities in Barcelona, where we process and prepare composite materials with high precision and over 30 years of technical experience.<br \/>\nWe offer comprehensive solutions, from raw materials to the ready-to-mold kit, with optimized response times and thorough quality control at all stages of the process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Production capacity and technology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our plant is equipped for projects of different scales and complexities, including;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2D and 3D CNC machining center<\/strong>\u00a0for structural cores (PVC, PMI, PMMA, PET, balsa, wood, among others), ensuring precision and repeatability.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Horizontal cutting machines<\/strong>, for laminating cores from 1 mm.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hot plate press<\/strong>, for thermal processing and manufacturing of composite panels.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Squaring machine<\/strong>, for cutting optimization and material finishing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Lamination and material optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We have lamination capacity for composite materials up to 1 mm, without limitations on type.<br \/>\nThis allows for adjusting the exact thickness required by the structural design, reducing weight, avoiding oversizing, and optimizing material consumption.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kitting and advanced machining<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kitting is one of our main differential capabilities.
